Shiho Dono

Shiho Dono was born in 1977 in Sapporo, Japan. She studied graphic design at Joshibi University of Art and Design and printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava (supplementary course with professor Dušan Kállay). Her first picture book, “Maruki no Yanko” based on a Slovakian fairy tale, was published by Fukuinkan Shoten in 2010. She lives and works in the Slovak Republic.
